Cryptozoic Entertainment (CZE) has been making quite a number of announcements around the New York Toy Fair, which is taking place now through Feb. 17th. The latest is a new line of branded collectible merchandise inspired by popular DC Comics characters.
Cryptozoic has already released quite a number of DC related collectibles including six versions of the DC Comics Deck Building Games and the Batman: Arkham City Escape board game. Non-sport collectors will already be familiar with the many DC Comics trading card sets CZE has released including DC Comics: Superman The Legend, DC Comics: The Women of Legend, and DC Comics: The New 52.

The latest DC Comics announcements calls for the company to produce a wide range of collector’s products including statues, busts, vinyl figures, banks and fan club collector kits. Products will showcase well-known brands such as Batman: Arkham Asylum, DC Comics Bombshells and Batman: The Animated Series.
CZE’s Bill Schanes (who recently joined the company after his 27 year tenure at Diamond Comic Distributors) commented, “Our relationship with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment continues to grow and provide Cryptozoic with amazing opportunities to release diverse, innovative, fan-focused products.”
The latest wave of DC Comics related products are expected in the fourth quarter of this year with line extensions through 2016.
